From the Services Principles and Service Responses Grants in Wales 2004/05 - 2006/07 for people with learning disabilities and their families

This Best Practice Guide celebrates the achievements of projects funded through the SPSR Grant.
The purpose of this guide is to share the good practice from across Wales and to maximise on the learning gained from the grant scheme. The projects show how the grant has been used to deliver improved outcomes for people with a learning disability and their families. The guide will also show what lessons were learnt by project managers so they can be shared with a wider audience. This includes projects which did not achieve the planned outcomes, but were rich in learning.
Five of these projects were 'showcased' at two conferences in June 2008, funded by Welsh Assembly Government and planned with Learning Disability Wales and Mencap Cymru.
